Upon receipt of your Phaco hand-piece, our technicians initiate our 11-point diagnostic process that begins with complete instrument disassembly.

We replace all old components with new, and the shell housing and remaining transducer components are ultrasonically cleaned. From all new connectors, cables, piezoelectric ceramics, electrodes, wires, insulation and seals – to its final autoclave test after full reassembly – you can be assured that any Phaco hand piece repaired or refurbished by Medical Optics will meet or exceed the manufacturer's specifications.

Before any Phaco hand piece is shipped back to you, our quality assurance department has monitored the instruments that you have entrusted to our care – from receipt to the date we ship them back to you.
